Oakleaf Carpentry helped rebuild our deck at our home a few years ago. Rudi was very thorough and courteous and I have recommended him to my neighbors. When I needed my deck replaced (for the third time), I really wanted to find someone who could replace it for the last time. We hired Oakleaf Carpentry to design/build some cabinets with drawers next to our fireplace. There were existing electrical outlets that were in the way of the drawer design. Rudi was able to work through that problem and move the electrical outlets to accommodate the design. He didn’t charge us anything extra, even though he lost a half a day solving the problem. Rudi’s communication was excellent. He kept me informed at all times. I was working from home while the built-in cabinet work was being done and he was very conscientious of the noise and dust that is created while doing this kind of job. I have had the pleasure of working with Rudi on two projects to my home. The first was the rebuild and expansion of a deck in 2005, which is still as solid as the day it was built. In 2015, I contacted Oakleaf about renovating my townhouse, including the gut and remodel of two bathrooms. It is now one year after the deck that Oakleaf Carpentry built was completed. I have thoroughly enjoyed my deck and the underdecking providing a dry area and a carport.
